FORUM ESSENZIA e.V. attaches great importance to the technically correct and legally compliant use of essential oils , fatty plant oils and hydrolates (plant waters). Since the beginning of the 1990s, scientifically proven effects and applications from the fields of medicine, botany, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, biology and cosmetics have been an important part of the board of trustees, which was formed from experts in these industries.
The developer of our product range, Rolf Pottschmidt, has been a member of FORUM ESSENZIA since 1993.
Sauna fragrance concentrates
THE fragrance assortment in the German sauna market! Over 450 formulations with high-quality raw materials and balanced fragrance compositions can be found in our recipe database. This covers all the classics and countless event fragrances.
Fresh production with - depending on the scent - nature-identical fragrances, essential oils and natural extracts after receipt of order ensures maximum storage time and the satisfaction of the sauna guests. We produce tested raw materials with the aim of "healthy sauna bathing for guests and infusers" within the scope of the respective scent possibilities with significantly reduced flammable solvents. The fragrance development over 2-4 minutes is maintained and in the areas of occupational health and safety and fire protection, as well as storage, many things become easier.

Levita
New, but different! Premium series for a particularly health-friendly infusion.
Basis: propylene glycol. If further alcohols are required for the solution, they are always used in the lowest possible concentration. This significantly reduces the VOC content compared to other formulations and increases the flash point. As a result, the hazard potential is considerably lower, which brings distinct advantages in risk assessment, storage and transport. Due to the lack of an under-scent of alcohols, these infusions are sometimes perceived as "weaker", although the actual fragrance content is higher.
Levita FINaroma
Base: Ethanol. Renowned formulation, used thousands of times in saunas; with the well-known slightly spicy smell of ethanol.
spicy odour of ethanol. The scent develops relatively quickly, the flash point and the VOC content are adjusted.
Levita ErgoStar
Basis: isopropanol. The tried and tested "fast" infusion with a sweetish, distinctive under-scent. The fragrance diffusion is less, but due to the higher evaporation it can be perceived more quickly. Here, too, the flash point and the VOC content are adjusted accordingly.
The container labels contain the ingredients according to INCI and list any allergens and batch tracking, which is useful for optimising handling.
Highly concentrated and so economical in use: 10-30 ml for 5 litres of infusion water.r.

Natural sauna infusion concentrates based on pure essential oils, which are obtained by pressing, steam distillation or maceration of natural plants and plant parts.

Sauna fragrance concentrates Soft
Sauna fragrance concentrates developed for the mild and circulation-friendly variant of sauna bathing "Sanarium" or other low-temperature saunas between 45-60°C.
Recommended dosage: 10-20 ml for 5 litres of infusion water.

Saline brew
Decoction of one of the best sea salts, with a very high salt content, for direct infusion or as a supplement in the scented infusion from the harvest of Esencia del Mar (Ibiza). Adding 15-20 ml to 5 litres of infusion water creates a pleasant, salty room fragrance without deposits on the walls, stones, heating rods. The taste of sea holidays - limited contingent!
